Hey Kirk. So, I was bored last night and (re)stumbled upon your blog… I really love it. It has depth, thought-fullness, wit, a dash of charm, insight. Really fun to read and think about. Trust you are well. I also enjoy your various musings on the church/following Jesus. By the way, how did the modern poetry class go? Did it scratch an itch? — Dan Flynn

Dan–Great to hear from you and thanks for stopping by. First: shock that you would ever find yourself bored. Second: thanks for your generous comments. Third: the modern poetry class was terrific: it really did scratch an itch. I stand amazed at those among us who can pack such depth into such few words. I hope you are well.

I just ran across these articles and wondered what you thought about them. It is a little more on the marketing aspect than writing, but I thought that you might be interested. The idea is rather novel. Or is it?

Thanks: I’ll take a look. My first take is that this would never work with adults. But then I remember how dumb we get when it comes to convenience.
