We’re All In Construction
We build every day with actions and words
Sometimes our work is purposeful.
Sometimes we joke that our habits and actions and speech patterns amount to nothing. But that is false: if nothing else, what we do and say affects us. And there is no telling the power of example and well-placed words in the circles we travel.
Don’t think for a second you are not building.
Something.

A great reminder, Kirk. Our words and actions must amount to something! If nothing else, it certainly shapes how other people perceive us. When I was younger I used to pretend that I didn’t care what other people thought of me. In my narrow bubble I thought I was being strong. But, in reality, it was just a mechanism to allow myself to get away with whatever the hell I wanted. I see that now.
Lately I’m aware of how people perceive me and sometimes I even take it in to account. I’ve found that it helps me build a better ME.
Thanks, Sonya.

I’m with you. Our habits have a way of leaking out to those around us. For better or worse. Thanks for stopping by. I hope you post more photos and thoughts!
