Drawing a bird is difficult and challenging. When you look close you see so much–each feather a bit different.

Possibly. They certainly combine all the elements I seek when drawing: capturing a shape, working with color, there is shadow. That site you sent me to is a bit of an amazement as well. I signed up and will surely return.

No, I really mean it! The first portrait I did, people could recognize. I just think that certain subjects are easier than others for certain people. You may really have something with birds, who knows what other creatures too. I don’t know, I think if you have any interest at all, it might be worth trying a few more and seeing what you think?
