….oh my, THANK YOU FOR THIS, Kirk. I’ve been watching the Larry Shanding Shows over the last number of weeks, and to learn of Garry’s passing was/is so difficult to access (not knowing him personally, only as this character in a sitcom), until you provided this tribute. Thank you for helping the tears to come.

Lance, thanks for the comment. It’s strange when these legendary comics or personalities pass on–everything seems askew. Garry Shandling was under appreciated. He was very innovative in his production of humor.

This really is turning out to be a terrible year. As I read somewhere on Twitter or the like, Has the Grim Reaper got the wrong list? I used to love the Garry Shandling Show and hadn’t heard of his passing. This is a wonderful tribute. Thanks, Kirk.
